The National Sales Manager is responsible for the growth of Dynatect Motion Control business. Individual will possess an in-depth knowledge motion control applications and industry terminology. A successful National Sales Manager will develop plans to target key accounts, manage pricing, provide quotes, identify new applications, train and direct independent sales representatives, and drive new product development that aligns with Dynatect's capabilities and growth strategies.

To accomplish this it will require them to:

  1. Work with independent Sales Representatives to develop relationships with key accounts and opportunities to drive growth in their product group.
  2. Define new product development initiatives, drive initiatives to launch and exceed established revenue and margin targets
  3. Understand competitive position and recommend actions to counter competitive positions
  4. Manage profitable pricing decisions



The National Sales Manager's primary responsibilities are:

    • Key account management
    • Identification of growth opportunities in dynamic protection within the product group
    • Understanding the competitive positions in the industry
    • Forecasting product growth and budget generation within the product group
    • Price management, review and implementation within the product group
    • Coordinating strategic customer meetings with engineering, procurement and production representatives
    • Product portfolio assessment.



  • Understanding industry purchasing trends
  • Development of product specific training curriculum/education
  • Establishing and monitoring metrics to quantify the product groups performance
  • Additional responsibilities as required for the role.


  • College/University Diploma or higher level education.
  • Rubber, Polyurethane, Plastic or Specialty chemical background is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a related position within a related industry segment.
  • Ability to build value and provide engineering solutions is highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • General financial acumen.


Required, approximately 40-50%


Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and pre-placement physical with lift test required.
