Customer Service Representative

 

General Summary

Respond to customer inquiries for placement of new orders, pricing for existing products, order status and expediting. Primary liaison between customer and Dynatect for order related requirements.

Essential Functions:          

  • Responds to customer inquiries for placement of new orders, pricing for existing products, order status and expediting electronically and via the phone.
  • Transacts all order entry functions based on geographic area of responsibility/product group. Makes changes in Syteline and FileMaker (ERP and database systems) per internal and external requirements.
  • Creates or modifies customer contract and pricing per established pricing policy guidelines.
  • Enters quote information into Syteline and FileMaker systems as required for updated or new pricing creation. Insures that all administrative information is correct (i.e. customer name, email address, etc.)
  • Schedules ship dates for orders within established guidelines. Acknowledges to customer via system.
  • Assists in resolving product and service problem concerns between the customer and internal resource.
  • Fills out and returns customer expedite reports.
  • Administers order requirements via specific customer portals. Extracts relevant data to process requirements in Dynatect internal order management systems.
  • Actively supports and participates in meetings, strategic initiatives, group goals and continuous process improvements efforts. 

Minimum Competencies Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous telephone customer service, or sales experience in manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to use telephone software to receive and redirect calls
  • Ability to judge distance and dimension and work with spatial concepts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, phone skills specific to a call center
  • Strong and effective verbal/written communications, ability to communicate with a high level of confidence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as internet and other standard office equipment.
  • Accurate data entry skills; prior experience with database system preferred.

 

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and pre-placement physical with lift test required.  Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position will be interviewed.
